Do you offer workshops or classes?

Nashville Story Garden offers a free monthly writers’ workshop called Greenhouse. Writers bring up to 9 pages of material and guided gentle feedback is given (if desired). Actors are asked to cold read the scripts which is a great way to keep those acting muscles in shape.

We hope to offer an advanced acting classes for adults in the near future - stay tuned!

What kinds of writing does Greenhouse support?

We have seen a little bit of everything! From scripts of plays, screenplays, podcasts, fan fiction, and more! Are you working on something that needs to be read aloud? Bring it!

What acting opportunities are there?

We encourage actors to attend our Greenhouse nights as that’s a great chance for us to get to know you. It’s also a good exercise in cold reading. We occasionally hold auditions for our main stage productions but that is on a show by show basis. Be sure you are signed up for our email and follow us on social media.
